Jocelyn joined Kootenay Columbia Home Medical in 2012. Jocelyn’s background in fitness instruction has served her well in the home medical sphere, ensuring our clients enjoy a holistic relationship between their bodies, their assistance devices and the world around them. Jocelyn is also a Registered Rehabilitaion Technology Supplier (RRTS).
Ronaye
Contract Coordinator
As Kootenay Columbia Home Medical’s Contract Coordinator, Ronaye Stansfield goes above and beyond to ensure our clients receive exceptional customer service. Ronaye invests much of her time into coordinating palliative and MEPP contracts, and organizing equipment deliveries and pickups. When she’s not at the Kootenay Columbia Home Medical office, Ronaye enjoys spending time tending to her home garden.
Ron
Territory Sales, West Kootenay
Ron Spenst relocated to the West Kootenays in 2016 to escape the noise and congestion of Vancouver; in the process, he also transitioned from a career in custom furniture production to his current passion for rehabilitation medical equipment. Ron’s specialties include complex rehabilitation seating, home accessibility and patient lifting. Outside of work, Ron enjoys spending his time outdoors hiking, fishing and hunting. Ron is also a Registered Rehabilitaion Technology Supplier (RRTS).
Cathie
In-Store Sales, West Kootenay
For over 30 years, Cathie’s career has revolved around home care and nursing. Cathie’s home medical expertise includes compression, bracing, wound care, ostomy, urology and aids to daily living and much more. In her spare time, Cathie enjoys boating and camping, and attending local festivals and outdoor concerts.
Andrea
Sales & Service Coordinator, West Kootenay
As one of our Sales & Service Coordinators, Andrea invests her time in coordinating the sales and service teams across the West Kootenays. A recent addition to our team, Andrea brings a fresh perspective on how to streamline our processes and automate our workflows to provide even greater service to our clients. Outside our Kootenay Columbia Home Medical office, Andrea enjoys spending quality time with her son.
Leon
Elevating Service Technician
Class ‘H’ Elevating Mechanic
Leon is our senior mechanic and one of Kootenay Columbia Home Medical’s longest-serving team members, having joined us back in 2009. Leon is responsible for installing and fixing all our products, and ensuring our solutions work to patient perfection. Leon’s passion for solving mechanical issues is something he takes with him everywhere; in his spare time, he enjoys tinkering around in his home shop.
Wayne
Service Technician, East Kootenay
Journeyman Carpenter
As a Journeyman Carpenter, Wayne assists us in fabricating unique custom home medical solutions to our clients’ unique specifications. Wayne brings an exceptional understanding of how things work mechanically, and how to make it work even better to create safe and comfortable environments for our clients. In his spare time, Wayne can usually be found helping a friend, neighbour or family member with their home renovations.
Ron
Service Technician, West Kootenay
Journeyman Mechanic
Ron worked as a journeyman mechanic for 25 years prior to joining our West Kootenays client service team. Ron invests his time at work applying his mechanical and electrical skills to installing, maintaining and repairing home medical equipment such as home elevators, stair lifts, patient lifts, power wheelchairs and more. Outside of work, you can find Ron enjoying an “off-the-grid” lifestyle adventuring and exploring the great outdoors.
